Matthew Holt

Matthew Holt currently serves as the Department Chair and Associate Professor of Accounting at the University of Dayton, a position held since August 2018, after progressing from roles as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor of Accounting. Prior to this, Matthew Holt spent five years at the University of Central Florida as an Accounting PhD student, instructor, and research assistant. Professional experience includes serving as an Assurance Manager at McGladrey and as a Senior Auditor at Deloitte & Touche. Earlier in the career, Matthew Holt held the position of Senior Financial Analyst at Fiserv, Inc. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Accounting from the University of Central Florida, a Master of Science in Accountancy with High Distinction from Bentley University, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the UCF College of Business.
