Shawn Robinson has extensive experience in media relations and communications. Shawn began their career in 1995 as a Media Relations Assistant at the University of Kentucky Athletics Association, where they served as the primary media contact for several sports programs. Shawn then moved on to work for the Mid-American Conference as an Assistant Communications Director, followed by a position as Director of Media Relations for the American Basketball League's Columbus Quest. In 1999, Robinson became the Public Relations Coordinator for the College Football Hall of Fame, managing media and public relations for their activities. Shawn then transitioned to the Wilmington News Journal as a Sports Reporter in 2004. In 2003, Robinson joined the University of Dayton, starting as an Assistant Director of Media Relations and working their way up to Associate Director of Media Relations and later Associate Director of News and Communications. At the University of Dayton, they were responsible for liaising with various departments and leading sustainability efforts. Overall, Robinson's diverse work experience demonstrates their expertise in media relations and communications across various industries.
Shawn Robinson obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism and Public Relations from The Ohio State University, completing their education from 1990 to 1995.
