William Turri is an accomplished engineering professional and entrepreneur with extensive experience in both academia and industry. Currently serving as the Division Head for Applied Sensing at the University of Dayton Research Institute since July 2015, William oversees a team of over 80 professionals on Department of Defense programs. William previously led a growing research team within UDRI and played a key role in establishing the Sensor APEX Office. In addition, William is an independent photographer running William Floyd Photography, LLC, and a certified professional coach with The John Maxwell Team. With a solid foundation in digital systems engineering and program management from prior roles at Systran Federal Corp and Infoscitex Corp, William holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Dayton, where early career experiences included research assistant roles. As a professional trainer through Bill Turri Consulting, William offers expertise in digital design and FPGA implementation.
