Alexandra Huddell currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Agroecology/Sustainable Crop Production Systems at the University of Delaware since September 2023. Previously, Alexandra held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Environmental Science and Technology at the University of Maryland from April 2022 to August 2023, and before that, worked as an ORISE Postdoctoral Fellow at the US Environmental Protection Agency from April 2021 to April 2022. Alexandra's academic journey includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Ecology from Columbia University, where a Master of Philosophy in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology was also earned. Earlier experience includes roles as a Cost Analyst for TechoServe in West and Southern Africa, and as a Program Manager for the U.S. Agency for International Development, focusing on President Obama's Young African Leaders Initiative and the Economic Growth programs in South Sudan. Education credentials include two Bachelor's degrees in Economics and International Studies from American University.
