Dawn Elliott currently serves as the Associate Dean of Graduate and Postdoctoral Education in the College of Engineering at the University of Delaware, along with holding the position of Blue & Gold Distinguished Professor in the Biomedical Engineering Department. Elliott is also recognized as the founding Department Chair of Biomedical Engineering. Prior to this role, experience included being a Professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine from 1999 to August 2011 and working as a Design Engineer at General Electric Aircraft Engine from 1988 to 1994. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Duke University, a Master of Science (M.S.) in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Cincinnati, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
