Heather Catalino Tansley

Heather Catalino Tansley, EdD, LPCMH, is an experienced professional in higher education and mental health counseling. Currently serving as the Director of Communications for the Division of Student Life at the University of Delaware since June 2012, Tansley leads the Student Life Communications & Marketing Team, developing strategies to enhance divisional communication and marketing. Additionally, Tansley provides instruction in various courses aimed at supporting students' academic and personal growth. Tansley's prior roles at the University of Delaware include Associate Director and Assistant Director of Communications & Operations, where innovative marketing strategies and workshops were implemented to improve career services. Tansley has also worked in private practice as a mental health counselor and held various roles in community relations and admissions counseling. Tansley holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration, a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience.
