Peter Krawchyk is the Vice President for Facilities, Real Estate and Auxiliary Services and University Architect at the University of Delaware. Peter has over 20 years of experience in facilities planning and construction. Prior to their current position, they were the Associate Director of Facilities Planning and Construction at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In this role, they oversaw a team of 40 staff members and was responsible for the negotiation and approval of contracts for design consultants, construction managers, and other capital projects totaling over $600 million. Some of the notable projects they managed include the Science Complex, the Interdisciplinary Science Precinct, and the Classroom Design Advisory Committee. Peter has also been appointed to several committees, including the Chancellor's Building and Grounds Committee, the Vice Chancellor's Sustainability Advisory Committee, and the Disabilities Advisory Committee. In addition to their work in facilities planning and construction, they have also been active in human resources training, serving as a mentor for the Carolina Leadership Alliance and as chair of the University Grievance Committee.

Peter Krawchyk has a Master of Architecture from North Carolina State University and a Master of Arts from Duke University.

They are on a team with Matt Kinservik - Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs, James Dicker - Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations, and Beth G. Brand - Vice President and University Secretary. Peter Krawchyk reports to Dennis Assanis, President.
