Tywanda L. Cuffy

Tywanda L. Cuffy currently serves as the Director of External Relations, Communications and Development Initiatives at the University of Delaware, responsible for managing donor relations, communications, special events, and fundraising for the Library, Museums and Press. Prior to this role, Tywanda held positions at the University of Delaware including Director of External Relations and Associate Director of Donor Stewardship and Alumni Engagement Communications, where notable contributions included developing strategic plans for donor stewardship and overseeing various communication processes. As the Founder of Naturally Redefined, a company focused on natural hair education in Delaware, and in roles at the United Way of Delaware and Wilmington Trust, Tywanda demonstrated a strong background in marketing, public relations, and client relationship management. Tywanda holds an MBA in Marketing from Wilmington University and a Bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in Journalism from the University of Delaware.
