Whitney Sample

Whitney Sample serves as the Lab Coordinator and Co-Director for the Design Studio at the University of Delaware, where responsibilities include overseeing laboratory operations and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. As the Owner, Inventor, and Design Engineer at Square Pebble Design, LLC, Whitney specializes in medical product design and development. Previous experience includes a role as Design Research Engineer at the Pediatric Engineering Lab, where notable projects included the Wilmington Robotic Exoskeleton (WREX) and a vacuum-assisted wound healing device. Earlier work as a Design Research Associate at Carnegie Mellon University involved rapid prototyping and project feasibility analysis, contributing to the development of systems like PizzaBot.
