Cristina A. Bejan

Cristina A. Bejan, PhD, currently serves as Visiting Faculty and Senior Researcher for the “Survival & Witness” Project at the University of Denver, focusing on the history of the Holocaust in Vichy France, West and North Africa, and Romania. As a prolific playwright, author, poet, and artist since 1994, Cristina A. Bejan also leads as Executive Director of Bucharest Inside the Beltway, a multicultural arts platform. Additionally, Cristina A. Bejan has lectured on Holocaust history to U.S. diplomats and has been actively involved in various organizations, including serving as Vice President of the American Romanian Coalition for Human and Equal Rights. With a rich academic background including a DPhil from the University of Oxford, Cristina A. Bejan's expertise spans history, culture, and social justice, underscored by involvement in community arts initiatives and education.
