Elyse Montgomery

Elyse Montgomery is an experienced professional in social work and education, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor and Field Liaison at the University of Denver's Graduate School of Social Work since 2006. With a strong background in family services, Elyse held the position of Director of Family Services at Warren Village from 1998 to October 2024, overseeing program design, fiscal management, and the development of supportive services aimed at self-sufficiency for families facing homelessness. Prior roles include Special Programs Manager and Family Advocate at Warren Village, a Milieu Counselor at Jefferson Hills, a Teen Parent Educator at Northeast Women's Center, and an Elementary School Teacher in the Houston Independent School District. Elyse holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Denver and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Drake University.
