Julianne Mitchell, MSW, LCSW, is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Denver since September 2006. Previously, Julianne worked as a Therapist at Foundations Family Counseling from August 2009 to 2015, providing individual and group counseling for children, adolescents, young adults, and families, with expertise in play therapy, behavior management, and social skills training, particularly in ADHD, anxiety, depression, and autism-spectrum disorders. From 2007 to 2009, Julianne served as a Clinical Care Coordinator at Denver Area Youth Services. Julianne holds a Master of Social Work degree focused on Direct Practice from the University of Denver (2000-2002) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Emory University (1991-1995).
