Lynn Schofield Clark is a Distinguished Professor and Director of the Estlow Center for Journalism and New Media at the University of Denver, where Clark has been conducting interdisciplinary research focused on young people, social media, and inclusion since 2006. Notable publications include co-authorship of *Young People and the Future of News* (2017) among other scholarly works. Clark's teaching encompasses journalism studies, social and mobile media, media ethics, race, gender, and media history. Previously serving as Chair of the Department and Professor in Media, Film and Journalism Studies from 2014-2022, Clark has also contributed to international scholarship as President of the Association of Internet Researchers and as Affiliate Visiting Professor at the University of Copenhagen. Clark's community engagement includes co-founding a Digital Media Club to empower students at Denver Public Schools. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Media Studies from University of Colorado Boulder and an M.A. in Theology from United Theological Seminary.
