Mark Dorward

Mark Dorward has extensive experience in biophysics and structural biology, currently serving as the Senior Structural Biophysics Technician at the University of Dundee since November 2023. In this role, Mark supports the daily operations of laboratory facilities, focusing on protein production, biophysics, structural biology techniques, and research on targeted protein degradation mechanisms. Previous positions include roles at the University of Dundee as a Research Technician, where Mark worked on protein production for the Drug Discovery Unit, and at St. Andrews University, providing technical support in the Centre of Biomolecular Sciences. Additionally, Mark has held various research technician roles at Mylnefield Research Services and Abertay University, contributing to laboratory support and operations since starting in the field in 1989. Mark's educational background includes degrees from Abertay University and Fife College of Technology.
