Nathan Hamilton

Managing Director/editor - UEA Publishing Project at University of East Anglia

Nathan Hamilton has a diverse range of work experience in writing, editing, publishing, and event management. Nathan has worked as the Managing Director and Editor for the UEA Publishing Project at the University of East Anglia since 2015. Prior to that, they worked independently as a Writing and Editing Professional, with their work being published in various recognized publications. Nathan also edited anthologies of poetry and co-edited an anthology celebrating the work of W S Graham. Nathan has served as the Chairman at Inpress Ltd and has worked in Research & Development at the University of East Anglia. Nathan has also held roles in Marketing & Development at The Rialto and as a Creative Agent at the Norfolk & Norwich Festival. Additionally, Nathan has experience as the Programme Director for the Richmond Upon Thames Literature Festival where they worked with notable authors. Nathan started their career at the National Centre for Writing as a Programme & Event Manager.

Nathan Hamilton earned a First Class BA in English & American Literature from the University of East Anglia in 2004. Nathan then pursued a MA with Distinction in Creative Writing at the same university from 2004 to 2005. Most recently, they completed a PhD in Creative & Critical Writing at the University of East Anglia from 2011 to 2014.
