Annalisa Savaresi

Annalisa Savaresi is a prominent academic in the field of international environmental law, currently serving as a Professor and Associate Professor of International Environmental Law at the University of Eastern Finland and the University of Stirling, respectively. Savaresi co-directs an interdisciplinary Masters program in Environmental Policy and Governance at Stirling University and is actively involved in the Centre for Environment, Heritage and Policy. Additionally, Savaresi holds several influential positions, including Board Member at Environmental Standards Scotland, Director for Europe at the Global Network for the Study of Human Rights and the Environment, and Visiting Professor at Universidad de La Sabana. As a member of the World Commission on Environmental Law for IUCN and Associate Editor for the Review of International, European and Comparative Environmental Law, Savaresi has significantly contributed to the field.
