Minna Kaikkonen

Minna Kaikkonen serves as the Director and Vice Director of the A.I. Virtanen Institute and holds the position of Professor of Cardiovascular Genomics at the University of Eastern Finland. With extensive experience in the field, Minna has previously worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Ark Therapeutics Oy and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UC San Diego. Academic credentials include a PhD in Molecular Medicine obtained from the University of Eastern Finland, and the distinction of Docent, or adjunct professor, also from the same institution.
