Ronit Bohra is a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Eastern Finland, having started in August 2024. Previously, Ronit completed a trainee position at the European Forest Institute from April 2023 to October 2023, focusing on organizing matchmaking events and enhancing innovation in forestry. An internship at Business Joensuu Oy in June 2022 involved global market analysis of Biochar and the carbon offset market in Europe. Ronit also contributed to the All India Tiger Estimation Exercise at the Wildlife Institute of India from July 2020 to October 2021, and assisted with logging operations during a field internship at the Division Forest Office in Kanchanpur. Early volunteer work included a poverty alleviation program in Western Nepal and a brief internship at The Himalaya Drug Company. Educationally, Ronit holds an MSc in Spatial and Ecological Modelling in European Forestry from Universitat de Lleida and an MSc in European Forestry from the University of Eastern Finland, along with a BSc in Forestry from Doon (P.G) College of Agriculture Science and Technology.
