Abigail Werling

VP for University Advancement at University of Evansville

Abigail Werling has been working in University Advancement at the University of Evansville since 2008. In their current role as VP for University Advancement, they oversee all aspects of fund-raising and alumni relations for the university. Prior to their current role, Werling served as the Interim Vice President for Development & Alumni Relations and as the Director of Gift Planning and Capital Support.

Werling has been instrumental in several successful fundraising initiatives at the University of Evansville. Abigail assisted in the solicitation and completion of an $80 million capital campaign, personally securing $1,031,247 in major and planned gifts in fiscal year 2009-2010. In fiscal year 2011-2012, they secured a planned gift valued at $752,000. Abigail also developed a 50th reunion campaign initiative for the Classes of 1955, 1959, and 1961 that resulted in $272,960 in new money for the university.

Werling is a dedicated and accomplished fundraiser who has helped the University of Evansville secure millions of dollars in gifts and pledges. Abigail is committed to their work and to helping the university achieve its fundraising goals.

Abigail Werling has a Master of Science in Public Service Administration from the University of Evansville and a Bachelors of Science in Public Relations & English from Indiana State University.
