Anita Horn Rizek

Ms. Anita Horn Rizek graduated from the University of Evansville with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. She earned a Master of Taxation from George Washington University, and a Juris Doctor from the American University Washington College of Law. In 1998, she was given the Distinguished Young Alumnus Award by the UE Alumni Association.

Rizek is legislative counsel for the U.S. Tax Court. Prior to this appointment, she was tax counsel for the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance for Senators Moynihan and Baucus, legislative director for Senator Harry Reid, deputy chief of staff and senior policy advisor for the National Commission on Restructuring the IRS, tax manager at the American Institute of CPAs, and senior tax professional at Ernst and Young.
