Gene Dawson

B. Eugene (Gene) Dawson is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Dunn Hospitality Group, based in Evansville, IN. Dunn Hospitality develops, owns, and operates various Hospitality assets in Indiana and Kentucky, and also oversees various other interests of the Dunn Family. Dawson has held this position since 2017.

Prior to joining Dunn Hospitality, Dawson spent his earlier career as a commercial banker for Evansville area regional banks, including Citizens National Bank, National City Bank, United Fidelity Bank, and Evansville Commerce Bank. He received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Evansville in 1988 and successfully passed the Certified Public Accounting Exam in 1994.

During his time at the University of Evansville, Dawson was active in the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, serving at various times as President, Vice President, and Treasurer. Since graduation, Dawson has served as a member of the UE Alumni Association.
