Larry A. Rascoe, Sr.

Rev. Larry A. Rascoe, Sr. has been pastor of Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church in Evansville, Indiana, since 1989. The church has grown under his leadership with a membership of 1,200. He received a Bachelor of Science in Religious Studies from Oakland City University.

Rascoe is very active in the Evansville community and has received the prestigious Jefferson Award for outstanding community and public service from the American Institute for Public Service and the Distinguished Citizen Award from former Indiana Governor Frank O’Bannon. Rascoe is the founder of a faith-based preparatory school, Joshua Academy, which accepts students aged 3 years old through 6th grade. In addition, he is the co-developer of Emporia Shopping Center which brought a much-needed grocery, shopping, and banking outlet to the central city.
