Michael Averett

Michael Averett has a comprehensive background in facilities management and operations, holding key leadership positions at various universities. Notably, Averett served as the Assistant Vice President for Facilities and Campus Operations, as well as the Executive Director for Facilities Management and Planning at the University of Evansville from February 2022 to June 2024. Prior experience includes roles such as Senior Director of Facilities Maintenance Services at the University of Nevada, Reno from October 2012 to February 2022 and Director of Facilities Services at Barton College from January 2019 to July 2020. Averett also managed Facilities Services at Sheridan College from November 2010 to October 2012. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Facilities Management from The University of Texas at San Antonio and an MBA from Southern Utah University.
