Ellen D. Lewis

Ellen D. Lewis, PhD, serves as a Lecturer in Systems Thinking at the University of Exeter since October 2022, focusing on the design and delivery of teaching materials for the Systems Thinking Practitioner Apprenticeship and mentoring students in systemic intervention. Additionally, Ellen is an Associate Professor at both the University of Birmingham and has a rich history of involvement in the field of systems thinking and leadership education. With experience as a Lead Systems Thinking Consultant for Advance HE, Ellen contributes to the UK's MSc Systems Thinking Practitioner Apprenticeship framework. As a Global Development Consultant with Ethos of Engagement, Ellen evaluates gender equality initiatives in post-conflict contexts and conducts capacity development workshops internationally. Ellen's academic background includes a PhD from the University of Hull, complementing extensive experience in evaluation, organization development, and leadership education across diverse contexts.
