Libby V-B

Libby V-B currently serves as an Honorary Fellow at the Centre for Public Understanding of Defence and Security at the University of Exeter, beginning in January 2024. Additionally, Libby holds the position of Advisor at Women Empowering Defence since September 2023 and provides AI and Technical Strategy Advisory services for the British Army since October 2022. Previously, Libby worked as the Associate Director for Partnerships at Helsing and in Digital Solutions at Rebellion Defense. Libby has an extensive background at BAE Systems, serving as the Head of Maritime Labs, Head of Air Labs, and Head of Pre-Sales at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence. Earlier career experiences include commercial leadership roles at Lloyd's Register and Schlumberger, where Libby served as Global Marketing Manager and Technical Sales Geophysicist. Libby began the professional journey as a Business Development Manager at Advantage Technical Resourcing and holds a postgraduate degree in Applied Petroleum Geology, as well as further academic credentials from the University of St Andrews, University of Aberdeen, and University of Cambridge.
