Miying Yang

Miying Yang currently serves as a Reader in Sustainability at Cranfield University since August 2021, while also holding the position of Honorary Associate Professor in Engineering and serving as a Senior Lecturer and Lecturer in Engineering Management at the University of Exeter since January 2017. Previous experience includes a role as a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University School of Engineering in summer 2018, a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge from July 2016 to February 2017, and a Research Fellow at Cranfield University for the EPSRC Center for Innovative Manufacturing in Industrial Sustainability in 2016. Early in career, Miying Yang participated in the Information Management Leadership Program at GE in the first half of 2010, focusing on EHS support and quality management. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Industrial Sustainability from the University of Cambridge, obtained between 2011 and 2015, with a focus on Circular Economy and Sustainable Business Model Innovation.
