Russell Edge

Russell Edge is an experienced engineering professional with a career spanning over three decades. Since November 2001, Russell has held the positions of Fablab Laboratory Manager and Senior Research Technician at the University of Exeter. Prior to this, Russell served as a Design Engineer at Quasar Microwave Technology until its closure and worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Alderman Tooling Limited. Russell's foundational work includes roles as a Toolmaker and CNC Machinist across various companies, beginning as a Toolmaking Apprentice at Spline Gauges. Educationally, Russell earned a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Computer Aided Product Design from the University of Wolverhampton from 1996 to 1999.
