Anna Jurkowska-Zeidler

Anna Jurkowska-Zeidler is a habilitated doctor of legal sciences, professor at the Department of Financial Law of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk, Vice-Dean for Student Affairs and Science (2018-2020), Vice-Dean for Science and Internationalization (2020), Chairwoman of the Scientific Discipline Council Legal Sciences (2019-2020).

Her research specialization is financial market law, and her research interests include issues of financial market security, both in the national, European and international dimension. She is the author of publications in the field of financial law, primarily banking law and financial market law. An important issue in her scientific achievements is the issue of the financial safety net, considered from the point of view of financial stability and consumer protection of financial services, which became particularly important after the global financial crisis of 2008.

She promoted three doctors and many masters. He conducts classes (lectures, seminars, tutorials, e-learning courses) in financial law, banking law, and financial market law, including English-language lectures and seminars for ERASMUS students.

She completed numerous research internships and teaching trips to UG partner universities from EU countries and outside the EU under the Erasmus + program. She was a scholarship holder of the European University Institute in Florence and visiting professor at many universities in Central and Eastern Europe and Asia.
