Karima Shamuratova is a dedicated professional in the field of clinical research and biomedical sciences. Currently serving as a Clinical Research Academy Trainee at VIARES since April 2023, Karima has undergone extensive training in various aspects of clinical research including Good Clinical Practice and Clinical Research Project Management. Simultaneously, Karima has been contributing as a Scientific Consultant for Medsupportkz and UNICEF-Kazakhstan since March 2020, focusing on immunology and vaccination education for medical students. Prior experience includes research internships at Université de Fribourg, where Karima conducted a master's thesis on breast cancer, and at Université de Genève, working with pathogenic bacteria. An early career summer internship involved assisting in surgical procedures at Barmherzige Schwestern Linz. Karima holds a Master's degree in Experimental Biomedical Research from Université de Fribourg and a degree in General Medicine from Medical University of Astana.
