Luis Quirós-Guerrero is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Geneva since September 2018, with a focus on Natural Products Chemistry and the development of bioinformatic tools for sample prioritization using Python. Previously, Luis worked as a Lecturer and Research Assistant at the Universidad de Costa Rica from July 2011 to July 2018, where responsibilities included teaching organic chemistry to undergraduate and master's students and developing isolation protocols for natural products. Early experience at UCR involved laboratory assistance, providing instruction to groups of students in basic laboratory techniques. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and a Master of Science in Chemistry from Universidad de Costa Rica, followed by a PhD in Natural Products Chemistry and Pharmacognosy from the University of Geneva, completed in June 2023.
