Brandon Maher

Brandon Maher has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. Brandon started their career at the Clarke County School District in 2014, where they worked as a Student Support Technician and later as an Infrastructure Support Specialist until 2016. In 2016, they joined The University of Georgia as an IT Professional Associate and quickly progressed to the role of IT Manager, which they held until 2021. From 2021 to 2022, they served as a Senior IT Manager at the university before assuming their current position as the Associate Director for Operations and IT.

Brandon Maher holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they completed between 2021 and 2024. Brandon also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business, from 2022 to 2024. Prior to their graduate studies, they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Information Technology from Kennesaw State University's College of Computing and Software Engineering, which they completed from 2016 to 2021. Before their bachelor's degree, Brandon obtained an Associate’s Degree in Networking Specialist from Athens Technical College in 2013 to 2015. Brandon has also obtained several certifications, including Java 11+ Essential Training and a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion, among others.
