Holly Fling

Holly Fling, PhD, currently serves as a Lecturer and InsideTrack-certified Academic Coach in the Office for Student Support and Achievement, as well as a Lecturer and Academic Coach in the Division of Academic Enhancement at The University of Georgia, a position held since July 2023. Previously, Holly was the Academic Director, Assistant Professor of English, Senior Department Chair, and Interim Academic Dean at Georgia Military College from July 2019 to June 2023. Earlier academic roles include Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Georgia from August 2013 to May 2019 and various Graduate Assistant Administrator positions at UGA at Oxford. Holly's experience also includes managerial roles at Pizza Hut and The Front Row Bar and Grill. Educational qualifications comprise a PhD in English Literature and a Graduate Certificate in Women's Studies from the University of Georgia, a Master's Degree in English Language and Literature from Truman State University, and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Truman State University, as well as an Associate of Arts from Moberly Area Community College.
