Kaleb Marchant serves as the UGA Double Bridges Beef & Sheep Unit Farm Manager at The University of Georgia since July 2014, overseeing cattle and sheep herds for research and teaching purposes. Previously held the position of Senior Agricultural Specialist- Feedmill Manager, where responsibilities included mixing and formulating rations for various species. Kaleb's experience includes working as a Graduate Assistant in the Animal Science Department at Auburn University and various roles at the University of Georgia, including student work in the Crop and Soil Science, Forage Breeding Lab, and Ruminant Nutrition Lab. Additional experience includes working at the Coastal Plains Experimental Station and assisting in the family cow/calf operation, further enhancing expertise in animal nutrition and management. Kaleb holds a Master of Science in Animal Sciences with a focus on Ruminant Nutrition from Auburn University, accompanied by two Bachelor's degrees in Dairy Science and Animal Science from The University of Georgia.
