Mahmoud Wagih

Mahmoud Wagih is a highly accomplished researcher and entrepreneur, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of RX Watt, where innovative long-range RF wireless power transfer technologies are being developed. As a Lecturer at the University of Glasgow, Mahmoud leads research in Green RF-Enabled Electronics within the Communications, Sensing, and Imaging hub. Mahmoud has held various prestigious positions at the University of Southampton, including Senior Research Fellow and UK IC Research Fellow, with a strong focus on RF-enabled energy harvesting and interdisciplinary research. Mahmoud's academic journey includes a PhD in Electronic and Electrical Engineering and a BEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Southampton. Notably, Mahmoud has also worked as a Devices Research Intern at Arm, contributing to novel low-power IoT designs and advancing RF technology through a series of successful research projects.
