Issac Joe

Issac Joe is an experienced professional in the field of social work and refugee case management, currently serving as Acting Deputy Director of the Student Welfare Division at the University of Goroka since April 2022. Prior to this role, Issac worked as a Refugee Caseworker at Applus+ JDA Wokman Ltd, where case management support was provided to numerous immigrants in various settlements. Issac also held the position of Refugee Case Manager at the Papua New Guinea Immigration & Citizenship Service Authority, offering case management support to both refugees and non-refugees. Earlier experience includes serving as an Assistance Welfare Officer at the PNG Children's Foundation Inc., focusing on protecting vulnerable children's rights and welfare. Issac holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Social Work and a minor in Psychology from the University of Papua New Guinea.
