Claire Matthews

Claire Matthews holds extensive experience in student recruitment and marketing within higher education. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Marketing & External Relations at the University of Greenwich since October 2016, Claire has held several prominent positions, including Associate Director of UK Student Recruitment and Head of UK Student Recruitment. Prior to this, Claire was the Head of Student Recruitment at St Mary's University, Twickenham, and worked at Goldsmiths, University of London, focusing on UK & EU student recruitment. Early career experience includes a role as Schools and Colleges Liaison at Glasgow Caledonian University and overseas trading and finance controller at Thomas Cook, managing operations across multiple countries. Claire holds a PG Diploma in Careers Guidance and a Qualification in Careers Guidance from the University of East London, as well as a degree from Glasgow Caledonian University.
