Maria Gebbels

Maria Gebbels, PhD, is an accomplished academic and leader in the field of Hospitality Management. Currently serving as an Associate Professor and Academic Portfolio Lead at the University of Greenwich since August 2016, Maria has held multiple lecturing positions and contributed significantly to the hospitality sector. Additionally, Maria is active in professional organizations, serving as Vice Chair of the Council for Hospitality Management Education and the Institute of Hospitality's DEIB Council. Maria's editorial involvement with Hospitality Quarterly and participation on the Executive Committee of the Association for Tourism in Higher Education further highlight a commitment to advancing education and research within the industry.
