Robin Ashford

Robin Ashford has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. They started their career in 1996 as an Administrative Officer at HM Revenue & Customs, processing VAT disclosures and responding to queries. In 1999, they joined Zurich Financial Services as a Regional Support Administrator, providing support to the sales force and managing customer data. They also had a secondment as a Training & Support Consultant, assisting in the implementation of an electronic trading platform.

In 2007, Robin had roles as a Technical Support Engineer at Company 51 Ltd and as a Web Developer at ThinkForwardDesign. From 2010 to 2012, they worked at CERN as a Technical Student and Contractor, focusing on IT transformation projects including Business Intelligence and web communications.

In 2014, they became self-employed and worked as an IT Analyst & Engineer for an engineering business. They were involved in systems analysis, engineering work, and legal defense support.

Since 2015, Robin has been working at the University of Greenwich. They started as a Business Analyst, responsible for requirements elicitation, solution design, and training. Currently, they are the Head of Business Analysis, leading a team and managing projects, staffing, and development.
