Dr. Christian Haase is a seasoned professional in data science and applied research, currently serving as a Senior (Applied) Data Scientist and Data Science Designer at Otto (GmbH & Co KG) since March 2022. Concurrently, Dr. Haase holds a position as an Associated Researcher in the Language Technology Group at Universität Hamburg. Prior roles include Applied Research & Software Engineer for Analytics & Financial Services at Otto Gruppe / EOS, Applied Research and Data Scientist specializing in NLP at HITeC e.V., and Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Digital History at the University of Nottingham.
