Laura Marie Edinger-Schons is a Professor of Sustainable Business and Chief Sustainability Officer at Universität Hamburg since December 2022. Previously, Laura served on the board of the Peer School for Sustainable Development and held various roles at Universität Mannheim, including Professor of Sustainable Business, Vice President for Sustainability and Information Provision, and Assistant Professor of Corporate Social Responsibility. Laura co-founded the Digital Social Innovation Lab and was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, where Laura's research focused on Corporate Social Responsibility. Laura earned a Diplom-Ökonomin in Economics from Ruhr University Bochum and received summa cum laude for a dissertation investigating behavioral economics. Early career experiences include program development at UNIVERSITAS UDAYANA, an internship in the procurement department at BMW Group, and marketing roles at Alpincenter Betriebs- und Managementgesellschaft mbH.
