Wolf-Georg Ringe

Wolf-Georg Ringe is a distinguished academic currently serving as a Professor of Law & Finance at the University of Hamburg since March 2017. Concurrently, Ringe holds positions as a Visiting Professor at the University of Oxford and an Associate Member at the Oxford-Man Institute of Quantitative Finance since September 2014 and March 2009, respectively. Additionally, Ringe is an Affiliate Member of the Center for Corporate Governance since July 2012. Previous roles include Professor of International Commercial Law at Copenhagen Business School from July 2012 to February 2017 and a Visiting Professor at Columbia Law School in early 2014. Ringe began as a Lecturer at the University of Oxford from September 2007 to July 2012. Ringe's educational background includes an MJur from the University of Oxford, a PhD from the University of Bonn, a Staatsexamen in Law from the University of Bonn, and studies at the University of Lausanne and Universität Passau.
