Amber Murphy has a diverse work experience in the field of financial aid. Amber began their career at Western Connecticut State University as a Financial Aid Counselor - Student Worker, where they conducted preliminary financial aid interviews, provided guidance and accurate information to students and their families regarding the application process and eligibility for assistance. Amber then joined Lincoln Tech as a Financial Aid Advisor, where they conducted financial aid interviews, delivered presentations, and provided accurate information to potential and continuing students. Most recently, they worked at the University of Hartford, starting as a Financial Aid Coordinator and later becoming a Financial Aid Counselor. Amber is currently serving as the Assistant Director of Student Financial Aid.
Amber Murphy is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership at the University of Hartford, with an expected completion in 2022.
