Dinah Cohen-Vernik

Dinah Cohen-Vernik is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the University of Houston-Downtown, a position held since July 2019. Previously, Dinah served as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Management at Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business during the 2021-2022 academic year, and as an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the same institution from July 2009 to June 2019. Dinah began an academic career at Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business as a Graduate Research Assistant from August 2005 to June 2009. Prior to academia, Dinah worked in various roles at ABBYY Software House from 1999 to 2002, including Product Manager and Corporate Account Manager, and served as an Electronic Banking Systems Expert at LCL from August 2002 to June 2003. Dinah holds a Ph.D. in Marketing & Decision Sciences from Duke University and a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from Ulyanovsk State University.
