Wes Smith

Wes Smith currently teaches Business Class at Cy-Fair High School within Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District since July 2025, while serving as a Corporate Fellow at the University of Houston-Downtown since April 2018, where responsibilities include assisting professors in teaching Strategy and Business Leadership to MBA students. Prior to these roles, Wes Smith held various positions at HP, including Strategic Supplier Manager and Supply Chain Manager, managing contracts and supply chain operations. Experience includes a role as Planning Manager at FMC Technologies, overseeing strategic and operational planning for oilfield equipment, and a career in the US Navy as a Naval Flight Officer with various responsibilities in navigation and tactical coordination. Wes Smith earned an MBA from St. Mary's University and a BA in Public Relations from Texas Tech University.
