Deidra M. Perry

Deidra M. Perry, Ed.D. serves as the Executive Director of Educational Programs at the University of Houston, where responsibilities include facilitating the CORE 1101 course for first-time college freshmen. In addition to this role, Deidra acts as the elected Co-Chair for Membership & Elections on the UH Staff Council and is involved in several committees. Deidra also operates as the Owner and President of Seeds to Water, LLC, and holds the position of Director of Educational Programs & Business Strategy at To Educate and Change Hearts Educational Research and Services, Inc. Previous experience includes leadership roles in various organizations and educational institutions, complemented by participation as a Texas Education Policy Fellow at Texas Tech University. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Education and a Doctor of Philosophy, both from the University of Houston, along with a Master's degree in Human Resources Development and Technology Project Management, a Bachelor's degree in Management & Human Resources Management, and an Associate degree in Elementary Education.
