Diane Z. Chase

Diane Chase currently serves as the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of Houston since February 2023. Previously, Diane held the position of Vice President for Academic Innovation, Student Success, and Strategic Initiatives at Claremont Graduate University from September 2019 to February 2023. Prior to that, Diane was the Executive Vice President and Provost at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from May 2016 to August 2019. Diane's extensive academic career began at the University of Central Florida, where Diane worked as Vice Provost and was recognized as a Pegasus Professor from 1985 to 2016. Diane Chase earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a Doctor of Philosophy in Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania.
