Gail Peter Borden

Gail Peter Borden, FAIA, currently serves as Professor and Director of Graduate Programs at the University of Houston and the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and Design since January 2017. With extensive experience, Borden has been an Architect at Borden Partnership since 2000. Prior to the University of Houston, Borden held several distinguished roles at the University of Southern California from 2006 to 2016, including Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Associate Professor of Architecture, Discipline Head of Architecture, and Director of the Master of Architecture Program. In 2004, Borden was an Artist in Residence at the Chinati Foundation. Academic credentials include a Master of Architecture with distinction from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Architecture from Rice University.
