Marianne Dwyer

Marianne Dwyer is an accomplished development professional with extensive experience in securing philanthropic support for healthcare institutions. Currently serving as Chief Development Officer at the University of Houston since April 2019, Marianne has held multiple leadership roles, including Chief Development Officer for Medicine and Health and Senior Director for Corporate and Foundation Relations. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations for UTHealth from 2012 to 2019, where comprehensive strategic planning led to substantial philanthropic engagement. Earlier roles include Director of Major Gifts and Assistant Director of Development at St. Luke's Episcopal Health System, as well as positions at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital, the American Heart Association, Houstonian Magazine, and Sheldon L. Pollack Corporation. Marianne holds a BBA in Marketing from The University of Texas at Austin.
