Zeinab Zargar

Zeinab Zargar, Ph.D., is a Full-time Instructor at the University of Houston since August 2018, where courses taught include Petroleum Capstone Projects and Deterministic Reserves Estimation. Prior to this role, Zargar served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, focusing on field development plans and reservoir studies, including classical reservoir engineering methods and full field reservoir simulation. Zargar's professional background also includes experience as a Petroleum Engineer at Tehran Energy Consultancy and the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry, with responsibilities in fluid characterization and contact determination in oil fields. Educational qualifications encompass a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary, an MS in Mathematics of Scientific and Industrial Computation from the University of Reading, an MS in Reservoir Engineering from Sahand University of Technology, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Petroleum University of Technology.
