Joanne Gibbons

Joanne Gibbons has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles. Joanne is currently serving as a Governor and Vice Chair of the Finance & Resources Committee at Hull College. Previously, Joanne worked at the University of Hull as the Head of Finance, overseeing various finance teams and playing a key role in financial planning and strategic objectives. Joanne also held positions such as Head of Finance Business Partnering and Finance Business Partner at the university. Before that, they served as the Director of Finance at Lampada Digital Solutions Limited. Joanne's earlier experience includes working at KCOM as a Finance Business Partner and Head of Performance & Improvement, as well as at Reckitt Benckiser as a BSG Process Governance Manager. Joanne began their career at EY, where they worked as an Audit Manager, Manager, Senior, and Executive across multiple locations in England and New Zealand. Joanne also gained industry experience as a Summer Intern at Ernst & Young.

Joanne Gibbons attended Newcastle University from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a degree in Accounting & Finance.
